Overview
The SolarEdge Home Battery 48V (BAT-05K48) is a DC-coupled, LFP battery built around 4.6 kWh modules that stack 1 to 5 per inverter for 4.6 to 23 kWh. DC coupling avoids a conversion step and squeezes more out of stored solar, and the battery plugs into the wider SolarEdge Home ecosystem (one app for solar, storage, EV charging and backup). It is the natural storage choice for homes on a SolarEdge Home Hub or StorEdge inverter.
