The UK's specialist solar & battery comparison platform
Find the right solar, battery or solar + battery setup for your home. We match you with up to 3 MCS-certified local installers, so you can compare quotes, ask the right questions and choose with confidence.
Our service is free for homeowners. If you choose an installer through us, we may receive a referral fee after your installation is completed.
Simple process
From your first question to a fitted system, we make the process clear, quick and easy to understand.
Answer a few quick questions about your property, energy usage and what you're interested in. It takes under 2 minutes.
We find up to 3 MCS-certified installers in your area who cover your property type and can install the type of system you need.
With your permission, selected installers contact you within 2 working days to arrange a free survey or quote. You can then compare options, ask questions and choose the installer that feels right for you.
Why choose us
Most comparison sites cover a wide range of home improvements. We focus specifically on solar panels and battery storage, so the questions, estimates and installer matching are built around the way these systems actually work.
Compare solar panels, battery storage or both in one simple process. Whether you want to cut bills, use more of your own solar power, charge a battery overnight, or prepare for an EV or heat pump, we help you understand your options.
Every installer on our platform must hold current MCS certification for the relevant type of installation. MCS is the recognised UK certification standard for small-scale renewable energy installations.
We are not owned by any installer and we do not charge homeowners to use the service. We may receive a referral fee if your installation goes ahead, but our matching process is based on your property, location, needs and installer suitability.
Quick estimate
Drag the slider to your typical monthly electricity bill and we'll show an indicative estimate of what solar + battery storage could save each year.
Monthly electricity bill
Based on a £150/month electricity bill, a suitable solar + battery system could reduce annual electricity costs by up to £1,260 per year.
Indicative estimate only. Your actual saving depends on your property, roof suitability, energy usage, tariff, export rate, battery size and final system design. A professional survey is required before any quote or saving estimate can be confirmed.

Certification standard
MCS certified installers
Every installer on our platform must hold current MCS certification for the relevant installation work.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme, known as MCS, is the UK certification standard for small-scale renewable energy installations. For solar panel systems, MCS certification is usually required if you want to access Smart Export Guarantee payments for surplus electricity exported to the grid.
We check each installer's MCS details before they can receive customer enquiries. If we become aware that an installer's certification has lapsed, they are suspended from receiving new enquiries through our platform.
Find certified installers near youWe check each installer's MCS certification before they join the platform.
Our service is free for homeowners. Installers may pay us a referral fee after a successful installation is completed, rather than simply paying for unqualified enquiries.
MCS-certified solar installations can help you qualify for Smart Export Guarantee payments, allowing you to sell surplus electricity back to the grid where your energy supplier offers an eligible tariff.
