How we vet every installer
You never need to gamble on a name from a list. Before an installer can receive enquiries through us, they pass four checks:
MCS certification
The UK's mandatory quality standard for renewable installations. We check the certification is valid and in date. An MCS certificate must be issued for every job before it's signed off.
Consumer code membership
Every installer must belong to HIES or RECC, the consumer protection codes that back deposits and workmanship disputes for home energy installations.
Insurance verified
We check public liability insurance (provider, cover level, and expiry) before any installer receives a single enquiry.
Established businesses only
Limited companies must be incorporated for 2+ years (verified at Companies House); sole traders must hold 2+ years of MCS certification. No fly-by-night firms.
